Summary
Are you interested in learning more about patient advocacy and supporting Albertans who are struggling with healthcare matters? Open Arms is looking for an Alberta-based Fundraising Director to support our mission.

Description
What you'll be doing

This role involves fund development through grants, fundraisers, and fostering sponsorships and partnerships with external organizations. As a member of the board, you will support the growth and development of Open Arms to reach the community members who need our services most.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include:
Seek, plan, and initiate fundraising opportunities to support the Society in collaboration with the Board of Directors.

Collaborate with the Board Chair and Treasurer to seek granting opportunities for the Society and assist in grant writing.

Support the promotion of Society Memberships, Sponsorships, and Partnerships with the Marketing & Outreach Team.

Develop relationships with major donors, identify new potential major donors and nurture relationships.

Lead fundraising projects, such as the annual silent auction, and manage volunteers for fundraising projects.
