Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and passionate Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with the ability to create visually appealing dishes that enhance the dining experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The Artist will work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present food items in an artistic manner that aligns with our brand standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
  • Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Perform cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and managing cash transactions.

Skills

  • Strong background in food preparation and service within the food industry.
  • Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order management.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is essential.
