Skills and Responsibilities:

• MUST BE ELIGIBLE to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance.

• Senior software packaging skills

• Experience with Admi Studio and SCCM and scripting skills related to the application installation process

• Familiarity with software packaging best practices and industry standards

• Deep knowledge of MSI, including tables, components, permissions, custom actions, self-repair, advertised shortcuts, etc.

• Deep knowledge of the Windows 7 Operating System including registry, file structure, user profile, differences between 32 and 64 bits, etc.

• Conflict Solve packages for DLL, OCX conflicts and conflicts with other existing applications

• Use tools such as REGMON, FILEMON, PROCESSMON and Beyond compared to identify resolve issues

• Familiarity with ACT (Application Compatibility toolkit) to resolve Windows 7 compatibility with legacy applications

• Ability to follow packaging process and ensure all required testing and documentation is complete and standards are followed Passion for technology understanding of industry trends and future of software packaging process improvement skills Leadership

• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Must be fully self-sufficient

• Ability to understand process and procedures and co urage to ask questions and clarify requirements when unsure

• Role Sr. Software Delivery Packager - Onsite - Need Clearance Role Summary Automating software installs for applications installed on every computer in the Customer Environment globally.

• Stewarding our automation software and packaging processes.

• Establishing the direction for software packaging at Customer.

• Mentoring junior software packages. Engaging with our ASCP packagers.

• Role and Responsibilities Technical EXECUTION Technical package build (akin to software development coding) and testing in alignment with requestor requirements and Customer standards. Projects are technically complex and global MENTORING ENGAGEMENT WITH JUNIORASCP PACKAGERS Training, mentoring coaching junior team members and working with ASCP to keep them engaged and informed

• CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Meeting and collaborating with internal customers and project teams to define requirements, overcome complex technical issues, schedule activities, etc.

• STEWARDSHIP, PROCESS IMPROVEMENT Stewarding our packaging software and improving process. Staying current on technology and evaluating what solutions best meet the needs of Customer.
