Shift Energy Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Victoria, BC. This role is responsible for managing shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to ensure materials and equipment move efficiently through our operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accurate records, coordinating logistics, and upholding safety and efficiency standards.

About the Role:

As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you'll manage all shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities while supporting field operations and ensuring safety standards are met. This role is essential to smooth project execution, keeping warehouse and logistics functions organized, efficient, and aligned with Shift Energy Group's commitment to quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments with accurate documentation and timely delivery.
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
  • Maintain inventory records for solar components and tools using ERP systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and support purchasing with forecasting and procurement.
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups with suppliers, carriers, and internal project teams.
  • Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and quality, and process discrepancies as needed.
  • Support field teams by ensuring materials and equipment are available and delivered as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse and yard environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with logistics planning to optimize transportation and storage efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an operation, shipping/receiving, or logistics role.
  • Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs, as needed.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail in addition to excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license (forklift certification is an asset).
