The Graham School of Professional Development invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following sessions:
Regular Session
Course Number, Section, and Name: GE 449 Engineering in Society (3 CU)
Term and Course Dates: Term One (September to December)
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 1:00 pm- 2:20 pm
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a B.E. degree in any branch of engineering. A few years' experience as a practicing engineer, some teaching experience in subject matter and a P. Eng license would be an asset.
Duties include delivering some lectures and marking.
Course Number, Section, and Name: GE CU) Intellectual Property Fundamentals
Term and Course Dates: Term One (September to December)
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Thursday 5:30-7:20 pm
Expected Enrollment Limit: 15
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in law. A few years' experience teaching experience key aspects of Canadian intellectual property law and intellectual property-related international undertakings for non-law students.
Tasks Include delivering lectures, marking and managing TAs
Course Number, Section, and Name: GE CU) Engineering Economics
Term and Course Dates: Term One (September to December)
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 1:00 pm- 2:20 pm.
Expected Enrollment: 190
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a B.E. degree in any branch of engineering. A few years' experience as a practicing engineer, some teaching experience in engineering Economics and a P. Eng license would be an asset.
Tasks Include delivering lectures, marking and managing TAs
Course Number, Section, and Name: GE 450 (3CU) Tech Innovation Management
Term and Course Dates: Term One (September to December)
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Wednesday 5:30 pm to 8:20 pm
Expected Enrollment: 10
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a B.E. degree in any branch of engineering. A few years' experience as a practicing engineer, some teaching experience in Tech Innovation and a P. Eng license would be an asset.
Tasks Include delivering lectures, marking and managing TAs
A valid driver's license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required.
Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
