Workshop Technician

Location: Annacis Island

Department: Workshop / Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Workshop Technician to support daily workshop activities such as grinding, weld passivation, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with metal components and tools in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grinding and passivation of stainless-steel welds and surfaces.

  • Carry out basic welding tasks when required (preferred but not essential).

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.

  • Assist with material handling and equipment setup.

  • Support loading/unloading of parts and assisting the team as needed.

  • Follow all safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.

  • Physically capable of handling materials and standing for extended periods.

  • Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Basic welding skills are an asset.

  • Forklift license is an asset.
