Kelly has partnered with our client, located in Cambridge, to hire a
Transportation Coordinator
for a
6-month contract
, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Input and retrieve load data in appropriate systems.
  • Review load information and identify ability to complete by reviewing fleet and carrier availability.
  • Communicate with appropriate parties, ensuring accurate information is shared according to established protocols and systems.
  • Ensure issues are resolved timely, changes are updated and communicated and provide ongoing insights and analysis.
  • Calculate trip mileage, track fuel use, repairs and other trip related expenses.
  • Provide specific directions for loading and delivery facilities.
  • Track and trace cross border shipments, and ensure compliance with the designated destinations, communicating to relevant parties.
  • Maintain high involvement ensuring prompt receipt and delivery to and from customers.
  • Ensure all systems, both internal and external, are updated as per established timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics.
  • Experience managing driver schedules and dispatch operations for trucks.
  • Educational background in Supply Chain Management an asset.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) and logistics software (SAP, TMS, or similar preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, adapting to challenges effectively.
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, 5 days in office
