Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy practices.

Requirements

  • Valid physiotherapy license or registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong proficiency in hands-on physiotherapy techniques is essential.
  • Experience with WSIB, MVA and the required paper work is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as independently.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
