Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or malfunctions.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
  • Execute heavy lifting as necessary for installation or repair tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with work performed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

  • Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Experience with welding, carpentry, HVAC systems, and remodeling projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
  • Previous experience on construction sites is preferred.
  • Capable of operating various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Commercial driving experience is a plus for transportation of materials when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.15-$51.24 per hour
