Job Overview

Driving a 12 ft cube truck to deliver cabinets. The candidate will also be responible for laoding and unloading cabinets.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading cabinets while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, mechanical knowledge. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the flow of operations within our logistics framework.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using warehouse management systems.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient order picking and distribution.
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization.
  • Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment, including cranes and order pickers.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution and management.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks.
  • Experience with order picking techniques and best practices.
  • Capability for heavy lifting and physical stamina for long hours on the job.
