Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in various types of freight transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Can manage and maintain their 10 ton equipment.
  • Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all local transportation regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
  • Experience in freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations on the road.
  • Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality and reliability.

Compensation

  • Gross revenue $8,000 - $12,000 monthly
