Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to create a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young learners and the ability to support their development through engaging activities. This role is essential in providing quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their growth.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide support for children with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary attention and care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Observe and document children's behavior and development, reporting any significant changes or issues.
  • Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team approach to caregiving.

Skills

  • Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Ability to educate children through play-based learning activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse groups of children, including those with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
