One of our Client is looking for Relief/Staff Pharmacist who will support the Pharmacy Manager in delivering high-quality pharmacy services and ensuring operations meet professional standards and regulatory requirements. This includes prescription dispensing, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and assisting in executing business plans.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify authenticity and dosage.

·       Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.

·       Provide additional clinical services as permitted (e.g., injections, medication reviews, chronic disease management, prescription adaptations).

·       Maintain inventory and ensure safe storage and disposal of pharmaceuticals.

·       Use pharmacy systems and workflow tools efficiently.

·       Adhere to federal/provincial regulations and Walmart SOPs.

·       Support business goals and assist in achieving pharmacy performance targets.

·       Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and other store team members.

·       Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

·       Licensed Pharmacist in the province of practice.

·       Certification to administer injections (where applicable).

·       Knowledge of provincial scope of practice (e.g., prescribing, renewals, lab requisitions).

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established workflow.

·       Experience in retail or community pharmacy preferred.

Working Conditions:

·       Standing for extended periods.

·       Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

·       Direct interaction with customers and healthcare professionals.

Additional Information:

· 

This is a relief role based in Regina, primarily covering Estevan and Weyburn, and all mileage will be reimbursed.

$75/hr + $20,000 sign on bonus
