Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The Pizza Cook will play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and prep stations
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Serve food to customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
  • Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
