Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to engage and support students in a dynamic classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to student growth, and experience working with adolescents. Duties

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards
  • Teach a variety of subjects and adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Assess student understanding through assignments, tests, and classroom activities
  • Provide additional academic support or tutoring to students when needed
  • Create and maintain a respectful, safe, and productive classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and expectations
  • Use innovative teaching strategies and tools to enhance student engagement
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to support learning

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous classroom teaching experience is preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents in educational or extracurricular settings is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to support individual student learning through tutoring or targeted instruction
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with educational technology and modern teaching tools is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
