Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 35 different languages in over 100 cities across the USA and Canada. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. One of our clients in Montreal would like to start a one-to-one General Wolof course as soon as possible.
Total hours: 32-hour package
Lesson format: 2-hour sessions, ideally twice per week (this can be adjusted after the course begins)
Preferred schedule:
• Monday mornings
• Thursday afternoons
Location: Client prefers lessons at the trainer's office/home in Montreal, QC H1B 2Z1
Student profile:
• Beginner level
• Native language: French (comfortable with an English-speaking teacher)
• Age group: 65+
• Motivation: Wants to communicate with a friend from Senegal; main focus on listening and speaking
Ideal teacher should:
Be a native Wolof speaker OR hold a teaching degreeHave experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreterHave a valid working visaLive up to 20 miles from the client's location.Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client's availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
