Silverhill Acura is seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our high-performing Service Department. This position is ideal for a licensed Acura or Honda technician who's ready to take on a leadership role managing a 20-technician shop, ensuring top-tier quality, safety, and productivity.

As a key member of our service leadership team, you'll combine technical expertise with strong organizational and people skills to maintain the efficient, clean, and professional operation our customers and staff expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support our team of technicians.
  • Assign repair orders to balance skill level and workload.
  • Provide guidance on complex diagnostics and repairs.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure work meets Acura factory standards.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with Honda Canada via Tech Line

Communications.

  • Mentor and train technicians on certifications and best practices.
  • Promote safety, productivity, work station cleanliness, and teamwork within the shop.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years as an Acura or Honda automotive technician.
  • Journeyman Certification (Acura factory certifications).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.
  • Ability to support Service Advisors with technical concerns when required.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shop environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
