We are expanding and looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our daily financial operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth accounting processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter financial data and maintain up-to-date records
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Assist with reconciliations, reports, and other general accounting tasks
  • Provide support on additional finance-related duties as needed

Requirements

  • An Accounting diploma, post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with accounting software
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
