You Are
We are seeking a Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking (PATT) Consultant to support and lead Workday deployments and optimization projects. They will work directly with customers to deploy new configuration, while also being able to optimize existing configuration and setup.
The Opportunity
- Effectively owns and leads assigned Workday functional workstream(s), working closely with HCM and EM/PM
- Listens to client requests, assesses actual client need, provides subjective matter expertise, proposes alternatives, and recommends solution(s).
- Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, solutions and lessons learned from previous client experience
- Significantly contributes to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
- Participates in building the UST Workday brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats and contributes advanced thinking and sharing of ideas within the ecosystem.
- May work occasionally at a client's office. Up to 20% travel.

What You Need
- Knowledge, Education, Skills & Technical Proficiencies:
- 4-5 years relevant experience in Workday Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking deployments
- Must have active certifications in Workday UK (and ideally US) payroll, Absence and/or Time tracking
- Experience configuring updates in Payroll (including earnings, deductions, costing), Absence (plans, eligibility, accruals), and Time Tracking (work schedules, validations, time calculations).
- Previous consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization
- Experience working with and leading offshore teams during projects and for ongoing support of above-mentioned modules. This will require being able to take early morning and late evening calls to meet global stakeholders.
- Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards in line with Workday methodology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas by leveraging available trainings and Workday documentation
- Need self-starters with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to work in a dynamic and fast-growing Workday partner.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in technical, business, or financial discipline
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-Canada
Compensation Range
: $104,000-$130,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
