The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry is the largest faculty on the Western University campus and employs over 2,000 part-time and full-time faculty and over 1,500 staff.
The Department of Paediatrics encourages and develops innovative research in a collaborative setting focusing on child health. Our undergraduate and postgraduate education programs enrich the student experience to provide the knowledge and skills needed to ensure exemplary care across multidisciplinary paedatrics sub-specialties. Exceptional specialized clinical care is provided to children in South Western Ontario from faculty committed to child health.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include assisting with patient screening, recruitment of study participants, scheduling visits, conducting study participant interviews and/or assessments, data entry and analysis, literature review and providing administrative support to the research team. Performs well-defined routine assessments on study participants (ex. hall walks, review exercises).Skills and expertise:
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines
- Responsible and Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in an environment with limited supervision
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
