Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative with a strong understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will draw on both technical knowledge and sales skills to identify client needs, recommend effective solutions, and support our team in providing high-quality, customized machining services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate CNC machining or manufacturing solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of customized designs.
  • Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Manage e-commerce and direct sales transactions.
  • Provide post-sale technical support and resolve customer concerns.
  • Occasionally travel for business purposes (e.g., client visits in Edmonton or other areas).

Requirements

  • Minimum college education; technical or manufacturing-related diploma preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably within CNC machining, metal fabrication, or a related manufacturing field.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machine operations or fabrication processes is a strong asset.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Part-time arrangements can be discussed.

Additional Information

  • Additional pay: Bonus pay, overtime pay
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
