Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Security Officer focused on night shifts, based in Kanata, ON. The Security Officer will oversee the safety and security operations within KRP properties, including patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to incidents. Other key tasks include performing routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with team members to address any security concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and surveillance system operations
  • Strong observational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with tenants and team members
  • Ability to work reliably during night shifts and in an on-site role
  • Experience in security services, law enforcement, or a related field (preferred)
  • Valid security guard license and first aid/CPR certification (required)
  • Physical fitness to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies as needed
