YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Senior Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mine dispatch system for the Detour Lake Mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Ensuring the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to decisions and instructions issued;

• Coordinating equipment to optimize production in accordance with the mine plan;

• Validating and record mine site data;

• Giving performance feedback to operators;

• Reviewing and explaining production reports on a regular basis;

• Optimizing the Fleet Management System to maximize equipment productivity, efficiency and safety;

• Integration of the Fleet Management System into Mine Planning and Maintenance systems;

• Analysis and interpretation of data to identify areas for efficiency improvements;

• Coordinating IT support for the Fleet Management System.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• High School Diploma or GED;

• Prior experience working with Wenco fleet management system and remote-control drilling technology;

• One (1) year of experience operating a mine dispatch system;

• Experience working in an open pit mining operation;

• Experience operating equipment is considered an asset;

• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

• Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;

• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
