Duties

  • Safe operation of excavator and other heavy equipment as required
  • Daily maintenance of equipment
  • Identify, report and correct hazards
  • Provides assistance where required in order to get the job done

Education/Degree/Certification

  • Ontario AZ licence (or equivalent) is preferred
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • First Aid and WHIMIS training an asset

Job Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience as a heavy equipment Operator (Excavator/backhoes/bulldozers)
  • Confident loading and unloading heavy equipment
  • Customer focused and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter who works effectively in a team setting
