Aerial Installation Technician

Prime Network Service & Consulting Inc. is actively seeking an Experienced Aerial Installation Technician to support HFC network builds. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician with strong OSP aerial coax and fiber installation experience who can operate independently and meet project deadlines in a dynamic field setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform aerial coaxial and fiber optic installations on poles in residential and commercial areas
- Install, lash, and secure fiber and coaxial cables using appropriate aerial construction methods
- Conduct or assist with aerial fiber/coax splicing and hardware installation
- Interpret construction drawings, utility locates, and project scopes accurately
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with aerial HFC (fiber and coax) installations
- Proficient with coax tools, aerial lift equipment, signal level meters, and safety gear
- Solid understanding of aerial cable routing, signal testing, and documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong adherence to job site safety practices and protocols

- Working at Heights Certification
- Bucket Truck / Aerial Lift Training
- Ladder Awareness
- Electrical Safety
- WHMIS
