We are seeking a full-time Receptionist with a pleasant personality and a positive work ethic to join our busy physiotherapy clinic. You will be the face of the clinic and will be responsible for the first impression we make. We need someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, is good at multitasking, and has excellent organizational skills.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can take their own initiative and be an asset to our clinic.

You'll be responsible for checking patients in and out, taking payment, answering the phone, responding to patient emails, booking appointments, billing appointments to insurance companies, keeping payment records, scanning and uploading charts to patient files, as well as general office administration duties.

You may be asked to assist the physiotherapist with patients, but training will be given for any tasks that might need help with.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is a must. French is an asset but not required.
  • Comfortable on the phone with both patients and insurance companies
  • Experience in a physiotherapy or a medical clinic is a plus.
  • Familiarity with office machines (ie. printer, scanner, fax machine, computer, ect.).
  • Experience with Practice Perfect "In Touch" system is a plus, but not a requirement as training will be given
  • We are currently hiring for our Kanata location, but the willingness to travel to our other Ottawa locations if needed is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
