Your Impact in This Role

As a Loader Operator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Complete required training, including SMI safety standards and loader operation demonstration.
  • Safely operate and inspect loader; report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and refuel loader using safe practices.
  • Load trucks, hoppers, and move materials to designated areas while tracking load counts.
  • Identify and report cross-contamination risks and environmental hazards (e.g., odors, litter, pests).
  • Report all incidents, accidents, or near misses to the shift supervisor.
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
  • Operate additional equipment as needed (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, other heavy machinery).

*The ability to complete additional on-site training will be required before these vehicles can be used at a facility
