Headquartered in Edmonton, we're a small but fast-growing team, and we're currently expanding into Southern Alberta. We're looking for a driven, independent Sales Representative based in Calgary to lead growth in this territory.
About the Role:
This is a remote, full-time role focused on new business development and technical solution sales within the healthcare sector — with an emphasis on long-term care facilities, retirement homes, clinics, and hospitals.
You'll work closely with healthcare administrators, facility managers, engineers, and contractors to offer tailored communication system solutions for both new builds and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow their presence in Southern Alberta
- Prospect, engage, and build strong relationships with healthcare clients, contractors, engineers, and IT professionals
- Present and demonstrate nurse call and integrated communications systems tailored to clinical workflows and facility needs
- Understand construction timelines and project phases to align product recommendations with client goals
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotes, and pricing agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and installation to ensure seamless implementation
- Attend trade shows, healthcare tech events, and training sessions to stay current and build your network
- Maintain accurate sales records, leads, and forecasting using CRM software
Candidate Profile:
We're looking for a confident, self-motivated sales professional with a technical background and experience in the healthcare, technology, or contracting space.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in healthcare technology, nurse call systems, access control, or related industries
- Familiarity with healthcare environments (long-term care, retirement homes, hospitals, clinics)
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare facility infrastructure
- Experience working with or selling to contractors, electrical engineers, or hospital project stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Comfort navigating long sales cycles, construction timelines, and procurement processes
- Based in Calgary with willingness to travel across Southern Alberta
Understanding of Alberta healthcare structure
- How AHS + Covenant Health make decisions

- How capital / infrastructure projects move through hospitals
Knowledge of low voltage / infrastructure systems
- Nurse call systems
