Insight Global is seeking a skilled
Echo Technologist
to perform high-quality
2D, Stress, and Contrast Echocardiograms
while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role involves preparing patients for examinations, verifying identification, and maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the diagnostic process. The technologist will monitor patients during procedures, document any symptoms or changes, and escalate concerns when necessary.

You will operate and maintain echocardiography equipment to departmental standards, complete quality control assessments, and produce accurate reports. Collaboration with clinic leadership and team members is essential, along with the ability to work independently. Ongoing participation in continuing education is expected to maintain competency across various echo modalities.

This role is a full time, permanent role in
Sudbury, Ontario
. Qualified candidates will be offered a relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation prior to scans while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Greet patients, explain procedures, and position them for examinations.
  • Monitor patients during diagnostic procedures, noting symptoms or changes and summoning aid when necessary.
  • Perform quality control assessments and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment efficiently.
  • Prepare and organize reports as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–5 years of related experience.
  • ARDMS or CARDUP certification (CMRTO registration required).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with echocardiogram machines (Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, GE Vivid E9).
  • Ability to perform Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms is an asset.
