In addition, you will perform analysis by using statistical techniques to reflect on the best course of action to communicate with stakeholders and business representatives.

You will contribute by:

  • Identifying data sources within the business and integration of those sources into the data technology platforms to support analysis and data workflows
  • Ad hoc analysis as needed and requested by business representatives
  • Thought leadership on data organization, approaches, workflows, and processes that allow the translation of real-world business problems into useful internal and external products and services
  • Maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge around the practice of Data Science and the technology stacks that support it
  • Collaborating with IT, Digital, and Broadcast technology departments to implement data-driven workflow solutions
  • Working with Data Science team members to design and operate the technology stack that supports data analysis
  • Maintaining knowledge about machine learning operational expertise across hybrid cloud platforms
  • Participation in data governance, ethics, and policy initiative
  • Providing operational support for automated data pipelines
  • Assisting to explore, identify, and construct business use cases for the integration of artificial intelligence technology

  • Providing regular support to stakeholders/clients as needed

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or other related field
  • Expertise in data science related development language (we currently use Python, but the ability to code in another languages is welcome)
  • Experience working with cloud-based technology stacks for data analytics, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure
  • Ability to evaluate hypotheses and build statistical models
  • Demonstrated expertise in Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and various machine learning methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience operating within an Agile framework
  • Skilled in data visualization and presenting data-driven insights
  • Understanding of the engineering/software development lifecycle
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate with technical teams and translate information for non-technical stakeholders easily
  • Proven capacity to deliver excellent results to stakeholders/clients
  • Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-evolving industry
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
