Job Overview

We are an electrical contractor looking for an office assistant to help with daily in office co-ordination, including scheduling, administration, purchasing and general office work. We see this position having potential to move in to a project manager/estimator position. Job hours would be flexible as full time is currently not a requirement.

Previous experience of some capacity in the electrical field would is preferred.

Duties

  • Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff members.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Ensure that office supplies are stocked and organized, placing orders when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and streamline administrative processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, viewing/editing PDF documents, excel, word

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.39-$21.15 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
