Acuren is currently looking for a Field Finance Administrator to join us in a full-time capacity, to support operations on our client site in Burnaby, BC.

Position Details
- Full-Time Position
- 4 days on / 3 days off - 10 hrs per day (40 hrs/week at ST time)
- Hourly/Salary range for this postion is CA$ $34.00/hour
- Position will be based on site: Must be local to Burnaby, BC area
Responsibilities
- Daily/weekly review of all data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness for payroll and billing
- Compilation of all information needed for invoicing such as client signatures, work orders, PO #s
- Input of all billing data into client systems as required, including reconciliation back to internal systems
- Close out and opening of POs with the client; cost tracking by PO
- Contractual reporting, such as daily costing, force reports, safety stats, etc.
- Understanding and obtaining any contractual approvals required prior to commencement of work, i.e. overtime pre-approvals, work order acceptance forms
- Understanding of all contractual billing requirements
- Basic logistics for employees to and from work site
- Coordination and processing of AP
- Additional tasks as requested by operations
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to support team goals and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Handle travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for field staff when required
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably in a field-based or operational environment.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, invoicing, and expense management.
- Experience working with Track system.
- Experience processing timesheets, job cost tracking, and supporting payroll functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data reconciliation).
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, JD Edwards, or similar) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced field environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
