Mini Marvels Learning Centre is a warm, nurturing, and play-based daycare for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Our focus is on emotional growth, creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning in a safe, supportive environment.

Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Location: Okotoks, AB

Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
  • Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions.
  • Observe, document, and assess children's progress.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and families.
  • Follow all licensing regulations and safety procedures.
  • Use positive guidance and promote emotional regulation.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and engaging classrooms.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Alberta Child Care Certification: Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 (or willing to obtain).
  • Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (or willing to complete).
  • Valid Child Care First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience working with young children in daycare/preschool settings.
  • Warm, patient, caring, and passionate about early learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
