Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatcher, located in Winnipeg, MB. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the timely dispatch of transport vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and tracking vehicle locations, communicating effectively with drivers, planning routes to optimize efficiency, and responding to any issues that arise during transport. The Dispatcher will also ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customer service standards.

  • Proficiency in coordinating and managing transport dispatch operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and optimize transportation routes
  • Experience in monitoring and tracking vehicle locations
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve transport issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is beneficial
