Our goal is to provide students with the hands-on training and real-world experience they need to thrive in today's beauty industry.
We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Education Manager to lead our academic team, support instructors, and ensure our programs exceed industry and accreditation standards.
Position Overview
The Education Manager will oversee all academic operations across our beauty and wellness programs. This includes managing instructors, ensuring high-quality training delivery, maintaining student engagement, and ensuring compliance with PCC and college policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in the beauty education sector and a genuine passion for helping students build successful careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily academic operations, class schedules, and instructor performance.
- Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with college standards and industry practices.
- Supervise and mentor instructors across programs (Hairstyling, Esthetics, Nails, Makeup, Lashes).
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and practical training performance.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Student Services to ensure a smooth student journey from enrollment to graduation.
- Conduct regular classroom and clinic floor walkthroughs to ensure quality and professionalism.
- Resolve student and instructor concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with Ministry, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Coordinate workshops, guest demonstrations, and continuing education initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement of curriculum, teaching materials, and delivery methods.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of academic or management experience in a beauty school, salon academy, or private college.
- Strong understanding of beauty industry standards, curriculum delivery, and student clinic operations.
- Knowledge of PCC or other regulatory compliance standards.
- Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of instructors and students.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems.
- A proactive, professional, and student-focused approach to education.
