Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety protocols, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

Qualifications

  • Requirements:
  • Valid AZ Driver's License (clean abstract preferred)
  • Must be comfortable with both local city work and Montreal runs
  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience (new drivers with a good attitude may be considered)
  • Knowledge of logbooks, inspections, and MTO regulations
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive deliveries
  • Good communication and safety-focused mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
