We're expanding our services into the Canadian market and seeking independent contractors to support our pilot projects.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented contractor to collect and analyze call answer rate data within Alberta, Ontario or British Columbia.

You'll help us evaluate call performance and network quality while enjoying flexible, remote work for a respected U.S. technology company.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Reside in Alberta, Ontario or British Columbia and be legally able to work as an independent contractor (self-employed individual or incorporated business)
• Have a mobile plan with one of the following carriers: Rogers, Bell, or Telus (on a Samsung Smart Call-enabled device)
• Live in or near a metropolitan or high-population area within Alberta, Ontario or BC
• Have a reliable internet connection and your own mobile device
• Be able to issue invoices for payment (include your GST/HST registration number, if applicable)

Project Description

As an Answer Rate Data Collection Contractor, you'll perform testing tasks to measure call performance and record the results. Your insights will help improve the accuracy and reliability of PhoneBurner's call analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

Placing test calls to your own device using a provided list

Logging and reporting results accurately

- Following provided testing instructions and timelines

Note: No conversations or sales are required — this is data collection only.

Compensation

• Estimated earnings: $50–$100 USD per week, depending on test volume
• Paid in U.S. dollars (USD) via electronic transfer
• Contractors are responsible for currency conversion or transfer fees
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:

Dependable, consistent, and detail-oriented

Responsive (replies to Slack and email within one business day)

Self-motivated and comfortable managing independent work

- Tech-savvy with tools such as spreadsheets, email, and Slack

Engagement Terms

• Part-time: approximately up to 5 hours per week
• Flexible schedule: complete tasks on your own time within assigned deadlines
• Independent Contractor relationship – not employment
  No benefits, paid leave, or other employment entitlements
• Contract term aligned with the pilot phase of the Canadian service launch
