Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python/Linux Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and developing robust applications and services in a Linux environment, leveraging Python to fulfill business requirements and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications in a Linux environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Integrate with APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Utilize version control systems (GIT) for code management and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python programming and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with SQL databases and writing efficient queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, specifically GIT.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
  • Experience with UNIX-based systems and shell scripting.
  • Nice to have skills: familiarity with Erlang, Prolog, IaaS platforms, and VMWare.
