  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of small and mid-sized business clients.
  • Prepare financial statements, working papers, and year-end files in accordance with ASPE.
  • Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns.
  • Review client records for accuracy and completeness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior CPAs on planning and advisory projects.
  • Implement and optimize cloud accounting tools (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, Karbon, Wagepoint, etc.).
  • Communicate directly with clients — you'll be a trusted point of contact.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax fundamentals.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (experience with cloud tools is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple client files.
  • Strong communicator — you enjoy helping clients understand their numbers.
  • Eager to grow, learn new systems, and take on more responsibility.
