We are looking for a hard-working individual who enjoys working independently, appreciates consistent weekly hours, but flexibility in when they are worked. Currently, we are seeking a new, part time permanent team member who is looking to work 12 to 15 hours a week, with consistent daytime shifts & the possibility to take on more hours in the future. This is a year-round position and does not change seasonally. Shifts are Monday & Friday. Generally shifts can be started at 10:00am and finish around 4pm. Start time is flexible. Starting wage is $22/hour
Additional hours & cross training is available if there is interest.
Role Summary
- Basic cleaning including, but not limited to, dusting, washing, vacuuming, mopping, removal of garbage, restock supplies etc.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and notify management when stock is low
- Maintain office security and safety at all times
- Follow health and safety regulations including safe lifting and handling techniques
- Reporting replacements and repairs as required
Qualifications
- Must be physically able to complete repetitive cleaning tasks
- Must be able to follow direction and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Cleaning experience is highly valued, but not necessary for the right candidate
- Ability to manage time effectively and clean within expected time frame
- Positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to job site. Comfortable with winter driving is a must.
- Open to providing and receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- WHMIS Certification an asset
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds
Upon offer of employment, successful candidates will be asked to complete a criminal record check.
Working Conditions

- wage increase after 3 months
