Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the salon. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about services offered.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and booking appointments as needed.
  • Assist clients with product demos and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting at all times.
  • Process payments accurately and manage cash register duties.
  • Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
  • Collaborate with stylists and other staff members to ensure smooth salon operations.
  • Stay updated on new products and services to effectively communicate with clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • Experience in technology sales or technical sales is advantageous for product recommendations.
  • Ability to demonstrate products effectively to clients, fostering an engaging shopping experience.
