Resposibility

  • Provide emotional support to the client
  • Delivered friendly and professional companionship, including social activities inside and outside of the home.
  • Performed housekeeping responsibilities, including cleaning, Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Managed timely intake of medicines and supplements as suggested by a physician.
  • Assisted patient in bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Advised patients by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.
  • Buy groceries, or other protect.
  • Assist the client with maintaining personal hygiene
  • Monitor changes in physical and mental health

Experience:

- Previous experience in caregiver or a related field is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with senior care, patient care, assisted living, home care, or hospice care is a plus

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as needed

- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is beneficial
