Test Lead

About the role:

We are seeking experienced Test Lead with strong experience in Trade Promotion Management processes in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and integrity of our SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution, which supports critical business processes including planning, funds management, claims, and settlement for our retail clients. This role involves designing test strategies, developing detailed test cases, executing functional and integration testing, and managing the defect lifecycle.

Required skills: what you need to be considered:

• 7-12 years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing, with a strong focus on SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) modules.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution application testing with strong functional and technical understanding.
• Knowledge of trade spend planning, trade promotions, claims management, Deduction Resolution and performance analytics.
• Knowledge of understanding specific trade promotion lifecycles, Funds Management, Pricing, Claims, and Settlement modules.
• Kantar Application.
• Familiarity with trade promotion analytics.
• Automation tools Worksoft Certify and Programming Knowledge.
• Proven proficiency with at least one major test management or defect tracking tool (e.g., Jira, HP ALM/Micro Focus ALM, Azure DevOps).
• Strong grasp of QA processes, testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Azure Functions.
• Strong communication, client-facing skills, and ability to work in agile delivery environments.

Preferred skills: what will help you stand out:

• SAP Certification in CRM or TPM modules.
• Experience in CPG/FMCG or Retail industry domains.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments and promotional spend areas.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

In this role, you will:

• As a Test Lead develop Test Strategy, functional, system, regression, and integration scenarios and Collaborate with development leads and business analysts to design and create test data required to drive test scenarios
• Collaborate with Business/IT Team and understand the requirements for Finance Trade Optimization platform and Ability to analyze requirements created in Azure DevOps (ADO) and develop test strategies, test scenarios and test cases and load them in test management tool (Microsoft Power App is a plus
• Set up transactional data needed for testing in finance application front end as well as in SAP backend (SAP is a plus)
• Perform function, regression and integration testing between finance application and SAP in Agile development model.
• Report bugs identified during functional experts and track it to closure and assisting business team is smoke testing and during UAT and Test status reporting.
• Provide testing support to business users and ensure smooth adoption of TPM functionalities.
