Berber butchery Ltd. is a new Halal butchery opening in Cloverdale Surrey.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter for a new Halal butchery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess the necessary skills to prepare high-quality meat products while ensuring exceptional customer service in perfect hygienic conditions. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards and providing our customers with expertly cut meats that meet their needs.

Duties:

  • Perform meat cutting and butchering tasks, including deboning, slicing, dicing, and portioning various cuts of meat.

  • Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations.

  • Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.

  • Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs for restocking to the owner.

  • Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.

  • Performs any other task required according to the needs of the butcher shop.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in meat cutting or butchering is preferred.

  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is beneficial.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to meat handling is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Meat cutter Certificate.

  • One to two years experience in a similar position.
