Coastal Roots Health Centre is seeking a reliable and friendly On-Call Receptionist to join our team working from our Victoria and Sooke clinics.

As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in phone systems, and have experience working in an office or medical setting.

Responsibilities include scheduling and billing patients, responding appropriately to emails and phone calls, welcoming patients as they arrive to the clinic, and keeping the clinic tidy if needed. Past receptionist experience within a health clinic and familiarity with Jane.App EMR program is considered an asset, but not mandatory.

This position requires the ability to multi-task, work with easy-to-use computer programs (Jane.App software- trainable), excel, Word, and interact in friendly communication with all patients and practitioners.

Experience

  • Strong administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
