Nous recherchons une personne motivée, minutieuse et autonome, possédant les compétences et l'expérience suivantes :

Responsabilités:

  • Travailler 7 jours d'affilée, puis bénéficier de 7 jours de repos.
  • Recevoir et saisir les informations relatives aux échantillons dans nos systèmes informatiques.
  • Préparez les échantillons à tester, notamment en les séparant, en les séchant, en les broyant et en les divisant, conformément à nos procédures opérationnelles standard et à nos politiques.
  • Effectuer des contrôles qualité et veiller au respect des normes de qualité
  • Pesée et saisie des données des échantillons afin de garantir la précision et le contrôle du volume.
  • Utiliser des broyeurs et d'autres équipements pour traiter les échantillons.
  • Utiliser le système informatisé existant pour gérer les stocks.
  • Il faut parfois soulever des charges pouvant atteindre 22 kg au cours de la journée.

Exigences:

  • Bonnes compétences en calcul, souci du détail et précision.
  • Capacité avérée à travailler efficacement, seul ou en équipe, et à entretenir de bonnes relations avec les collaborateurs à tous les niveaux hiérarchiques.
  • Capacité avérée à communiquer, à l'oral comme à l'écrit, de manière claire et concise.
  • Capacité à assimiler rapidement de nouvelles informations, processus et procédures.
  • Capacité avérée à respecter les délais et à identifier et résoudre les problèmes.
  • Expérience dans l'utilisation de la suite Microsoft Office, Word et Excel
  • L'enseignement secondaire est une condition préalable.
  • Une expérience préalable dans des sociétés minières est préférable, mais n'est pas indispensable.
  • Capacité à interagir avec différentes cultures.
  • Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et orale en anglais
  • Une expérience préalable dans l'utilisation d'un transpalette est un atout.
  • Il est nécessaire de soulever des charges pouvant atteindre 22 kg.

MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Work a 7 days on followed by 7 days off schedule.
  • Receive and enter sample information into our computer systems.
  • Prepare samples for testing including separation, drying, crushing, and splitting in accordance with our standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Perform QC checks and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Weighing and data entry of samples to ensure accuracy and volume monitoring.
  • Use crushing and other equipment to process samples.
  • Utilize the existing computerized system to manage stock.
  • Some lifting is required, up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels.
  • Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Word & Excel
  • High School education is a pre-requisite.
  • Previous experience in mining companies preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to interact with different cultures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Previous experience with the use of a pallet jack is an asset
  • Some physical lifting, up to 50 pounds, is required.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 80 per week
