We are hiring for a Vice-Principal at Unity Composite High School. This is a Permanent Full-Time position commencing at the start of the school year.
Candidates will be strong at building relationships with staff, students and their families and our community. Individuals will believe in the importance of having trauma-informed classrooms. Honouring Indigenous teachings and diversity to promote a culture of respect is important. Living Sky School Division believes that school-based administrators play key roles in student success. It will be important for candidates to be able to:
- Lead Learning (Instructional Leadership),
- Set Vision and Provide Direction,
- Secure Caring and Respectful Schools,
- Develop People and Build Relationships,
- Strengthen the Educational Community (through working with parents and other agencies), and

Unity Composite High School
Unity Composite High School is a collaborative learning community dedicated to "Building Citizens, Striving for Excellence". This is a grade 7-12 high school with approximately 325 students. The team has high expectations for all members and believes that although learning happens differently for everyone, all children can achieve. This person will demonstrate kindness, respect, and integrity in his or her work with children, families, and colleagues and will model three core beliefs, "respect, responsibility and choose to learn." Applicants are required to possess a Master's Degree in Education or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Additionally, they must be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, be energetic, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
