Role Overview
We're looking for a driven
Finance Manager
with 1–2 years of experience in finance, ideally within an accounting firm, SaaS, e-commerce, or private equity/VC environment. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial principles and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and investors.
- Analyze performance and recommend actions to improve efficiency and cash flow.
- Oversee cash management, accounts receivable/payable, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
- Build and maintain financial models for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive analysis.
- Support fundraising and investor relations initiatives.
Requirements
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance (accounting firm, SaaS, e-commerce, or VC/PE).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and financial modeling software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fundraising or investor relations.
- Interest or background in sports and digital media.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Salary:
$70,000 + up to $25,000 in performance/consulting bonuses. - Equity participation (stock options).
