MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Market Support Analyst. This candidate will play a key role in supporting the operation and administration of Alberta's energy and ancillary service markets. The successful candidate will help manage market access systems, support participants with enrollment and asset setup, coordinate stakeholder activities, and assist in implementing market process changes.
Contract:
4 months
Key Responsibilities
- Administer market access systems, records, and participant requests.
- Assist customers with system access, asset setup, and digital certification.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings and manage communication across departments.
- Retrieve, analyze, and present data to monitor progress and trends.
- Support process improvements and policy updates related to market operations.
- Maintain contracts, agreements, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and general support to participants in energy and ancillary markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with databases or business process development is an asset.
- Familiarity with Alberta's energy market or the utilities industry is preferred.
