Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Lawyer (3+ years) to join our growing team.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mississauga, offering flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
The ideal candidate will independently handle a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including drafting, motions, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and advance a diverse portfolio of litigation files from start to finish
Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice
Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other court materials
Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement discussions
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality client service
Qualifications
LL.B. or J.D. and member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO)
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (civil or commercial litigation preferred)
Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage files independently with sound judgment and attention to detail
A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to client success
